Jessica Hathaway joined Ocean Strategies as a senior consultant and project manager in 2022, after more than a decade as editor in chief of National Fisherman, the publication of record for the U.S. commercial fishing industry. She has more than 20 years of experience in maritime publishing and journalism.
Jes is based in Portland, Maine, and has a passion for fisheries, working waterfronts, marine resources, sustainable aquaculture, as well as social policy.
She also serves on the Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute’s Communications Committee and is a board member of the National Fisheries Conservation Center.
